We miss you already.

OFFICIAL FIRST POST ALERT! Really all that means is be prepared for a ton of goodness because I have a whole 1.5 weeks to catch up on. 

While you were out saving the world.. 

Otto had "Luau Day" at school. I of course didn't know about it until the day before but I made it work. I used the left over jungle leaves from his birthday and a whole punch and bam! Every one of Ottos teachers sent me pictures of him throughout the day so I think its safe to say his costume was a hit. #momwin

We spent that weekend at Ninas house. We had a late birthday dinner for her and hung by the pool. Otto didn't seem as excited about it as his time at Nanas but he also needed a nap. The next day was Ross double discount day. 

Bright and early at 0530 we drove to Temecula and shopped till we dropped (literally for Otto). 3 carts and $900+ later we headed back home. The early morning was fine but we noticed Ottos left eye starting to look mad ugly. He had some totally awesome yellow/green boogers building up constantly even after wiping them away. Erins mom suggested to take him in, which I did. In and out of urgent care within an hour. We left with some antibiotic eye drops and the infection cleared up the next day. I had to stay home from work of course. By the time I took this picture it was almost cleared up. 

Crazy hair day was the day after he got back to school. The only cool hair color i had was glitter and I knew you would be mad if I used it so I asked Ally. Of course she came through with some green spray. So here he is. The coolest kid ever with a green mohawk. I'm not sure if hair color is appropriate for a 14 month old.. but whatever. I think we jumped that ship the moment we put a Black Sabbath t-shirt on him.

I also had to pick him up because of a fever this day. Bummer! Definitely a scare since 4 of his classmates were sent home with confirmed cases of the dreaded hand foot and mouth disease. I stayed home with him again half the day and worked from home. Miss Tina ended up coming over after 1 to hang out with him. Yay for an extra set of hands. 

..AAAAND we're all caught up. We FINALLY got to hear from you yesterday which is always a relief. Everyone has been asking about you, which actually becomes a little annoying after a while since I never have any answers. Don't worry about us babe. I got this.
