Its only been 24 days since you left.

This week wasn't terrible. Ottos school was closed on Monday so Erin and I both took half days and switched at 1230 to stay home with him. It was nice to sleep in a little and hang out with him in the morning. We  had spinach strawberry waffles (I blended them up and put them in the batter because this fool doesn't like to eat his veggies anymore) and watched Trolls on Netflix.  I also went to Naval on Monday to take what I thought was going to be a blood test but was actually just a pee test to confirm baby. I was also told that the OB is so filled with pregnant girls that they will most likely have to refer me to a doctor out in town... GREAT. I'm really not excited about it but will find out more when I go to my first appointment. The first one is just paperwork and basic vitals. I made it on a day that mom will be here. Im going to surprise and tell her then. Once I get the first ultrasound around 10+ weeks I'll send something to everyone else.  I sent your...

Just a lazy Saturday.

  You haven't missed much the last couple of days. Erin and I took Otto to Applebees last night. I don't even know why I go there because I really don't like it. We got little boy some chicken mac and cheese except he picked out the chicken and only ate the cheesy noods. Also, I totally let him watch Coco the whole time we were there. Mom fail? Maybe. But at least he kept quiet.    I broke down an bought a new trash can today with a lid. Ottos been non stop getting his hands in there and this morning I found the remote controller mixed in with the left over banana peel from breakfast. Anyways, its nothing exciting but you do have to press a button on the lid to open it. So hopefully it works... until he learns how it works. Growth Spurt?

So today is Thursday... and yes I remembered to take out the trash yesterday. Also, it was COVERED in ants. ew.  Anyways little boy has been sleeping and eating a whole lot. I put his vans on today and I think they were almost too small. He yelled at me while making dinner because our chicken was taking too long in the oven. So he ate an orange, a rice cake, some gold fish, some broccoli, 2 pouches, pasta, and crackers that he HAD to take out of the package himself. The kitchen floor is covered in crumbs. I didn't even eat the chicken or anything actually BUT at least the dishes are done?  Here is a few snaps of him. They're all so damn cute, I couldn't just pick one.  School is going well. All of Ottos teachers only have good things to tell me but I'm not sure if they are just saying that or if its really true. Miss Chelsea sent me this picture today along with a repetitive apology. Apparently Otto had a toy during outside play time that another kid wanted. End result.. a bite on his back? Like really? Out of all places? It actually looks worse now. You can see the little teeth marks around that big bright red spot. The teacher sent home a "bite report" that I have to sign and give back. They don't tell you which kid did it either. Oh well.. you win some you lose some I guess.  Also.. Jesse officially bought THE RING! He is having it sent here since the plan is to slip it to him at his homecoming. Erin is getting so excited and were already planning things out. I gave her my wedding book organizer and its already filling up. We're planning for March, so you will actually be home. OFFICIAL FIRST POST ALERT! Really all that means is be prepared for a ton of goodness because I have a whole 1.5 weeks to catch up on.  While you were out saving the world..  Otto had "Luau Day" at school. I of course didn't know about it until the day before but I made it work. I used the left over jungle leaves from his birthday and a whole punch and bam! Every one of Ottos teachers sent me pictures of him throughout the day so I think its safe to say his costume was a hit. #momwin We spent that weekend at Ninas house. We had a late birthday dinner for her and hung by the pool. Otto didn't seem as excited about it as his time at Nanas but he also needed a nap. The next day was Ross double discount day.  Bright and early at 0530 we drove to Temecula and shopped till we dropped (literally for Otto). 3 carts and $900+ later we headed back home.
